Workshop Service Coordinator Position

The ideal candidate will possess a strong administration and customer service background, with experience in workshop operations.

They will have a good understanding of the transport industry, particularly hydraulics and/or braking, and be able to show initiative, solve problems, and make decisions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, managing bookings, and handling administrative tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and vehicle condition reports.

They will also maintain workshop documents, including service records and quality assurance.

  • Maintain and build relationships with existing key accounts.
  • Communicate and manage customer expectations regarding workshop bookings and scheduling.
  • Attend to customer payments as required.
  • Perform data entry involving timecards, service information, and invoicing.
  • Control vehicle condition reports and liaise with customers on pick-up/drop-off.
  • Maintain workshop documents including service records, quality assurance, and consumables.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven administration and customer service experience.
  • Experience with workshop operations.
  • Good understanding of and relevant experience in the transport industry; experience in hydraulics and/or braking is highly regarded.
  • Ability to show initiative, solve problems, and make decisions.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
