We are seeking a Workshop Coordinator to join our Hallam-based Service & Repair Centre. This role will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Victorian Repair Centre, ensuring jobs are scheduled, tracked, and completed efficiently.

Working closely with our service scheduling team, you will manage workflow, allocate jobs to Repair Centre Technicians, update daily schedules, and ensure our customers receive on-time, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the daily schedule for workshop jobs
  • Allocate work to Repair Centre Technicians and ensure clear job instructions
  • Track job progress, escalate delays, and ensure accurate job records before closure
  • Support procurement and stores to ensure parts and materials are available for scheduled jobs
  • Lead and motivate a team of Repair Centre Technicians and a Spraypainter
  • Foster a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with Wastech's OHS policies
  • Provide accurate and timely updates to internal stakeholders and customers

About You

  • Proven experience in a workshop, repair centre, or service coordination role.
  • Able to understand and address competing customer priorities
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic ERP/job management systems
  • Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills
  • Committed to safety, teamwork, and delivering quality service
