About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Club Wyndham Airlie Beach. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Rooms-based professional with a proven track record of operational knowledge and experience. You will have the chance to take on increased responsibilities, develop your skills through our professional development programs, and pursue leadership opportunities within the organization.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for overseeing the Food & Beverage department and ensuring exceptional customer experiences for our guests.
  • Proven experience in leading and engaging a driven team to provide an optimal Customer Experience in a resort environment.
  • Operational knowledge and experience in all hotel departments with a strong focus on rooms divisions.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Eye for detail and an analytical mind.
  • Ability to assist in developing budgets and make sound decisions to ensure the hotel operates efficiently.
  • Effective leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

About the Location

Club Wyndham Airlie Beach boasts a relaxed, tropical North Queensland feel with warm sea breezes and ocean views. The resort features 105 apartments and provides several on-site amenities, including a large outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and an alfresco restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a bar. The resort is also equipped for hosting conferences and events, providing versatile event spaces suitable for meetings, weddings, and other special occasions.
