About the role
The Operations Assistant provides administrative support to Regional Operations Managers, Area Managers, HR Business Partners, and the QLD Country Operations team. Key responsibilities include:
Main duties:
- Maintaining and monitoring systems that support operations, including purchasing, learning, and finance
- Safety management systems, policies, and procedures
- Providing professional customer service to internal, external, and corporate customers
- Distributing key regional operations information to stakeholders
- Undertaking administrative project work as required
- Acting as a super user of Kronos, providing high-level support to operations leaders
- Coordinating regional training and supporting annual post-harvest activities
About your experience
You will also require:
- Flexibility to travel within the region and provide frontline operations support
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to construct professional documents (MS Office)
- Intermediate MS Excel skills, with an advantage if you have experience with finance, procurement, and/or people systems
- High attention to detail and timeliness in completing work, with a proactive approach to work
- Positive outlook and ability to work with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
- An understanding of payroll, return-to-work coordination, and safety, health, and environment principles is beneficial
