Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our commercial projects.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the project contracts administration team, ensuring that all project plans and requirements are met. You will work closely with the Project Manager to define the specific roles and responsibilities for the CA team and ensure that all relevant project plans and requirements are included in subcontractor scopes of work and contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure the project contracts administration team is adequately resourced with personnel of appropriate competency to deliver the project plans
  • Compile and review accurate scopes of work for subcontracts
  • Ensure that all relevant project plans and requirements are included for in subcontractor scopes of work and contracts
  • Review and approve subcontractor plans for compliance with project plans and Specifications
  • Administer the project management, change, and control processes in compliance with the project plans, contractual and legal conditions, time bars, and administrative timeframes
  • Ensure the proper and accurate use of Jobpac in administering the project
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years' experience in the role of a Contract Administrator successfully delivering projects in the commercial sector in Sydney
  • Ability to problem-solving and respond appropriately to a range of project requirements
  • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills, coupled with stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using Jobpac, Acconex and Payapps
