Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Operations Coordinator to join our team at Novotel Hotels. As a key member of our overnight operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel's overnight operation, while maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction and safety.

Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional guest service, including check-in/check-out, request handling, and providing hotel information. You will also be responsible for settling and maintaining accurate guest accounts, as well as maintaining strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide quick thinking solutions when problems arise. You will also need to have clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Opera.

You will be working a rotating roster, including 2 nights per week, and must be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and take your career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service, including check-in/check-out, request handling, and providing hotel information.
  • Settle and maintain accurate guest accounts.
  • Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with the Front Office Manager and General Manager to achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance guest satisfaction and hotel efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Guest obsessed focus with the ability to flex in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to navigate through change and provide quick thinking solutions when problems arise.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Opera.
  • Availability to work a rotating roster, including 2 nights per week.
