Senior Agricultural Research Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Agricultural Research Coordinator to lead our network of 25 producer demonstration sites in Australia.

About the Role

This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and coordination skills, as well as expertise in managing large-scale on-farm research projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the PDS network is well resourced, deploying emissions measurement devices at appropriate times, collecting and securing extensive data generated from these devices, and planning a comprehensive calendar of extension and adoption activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of five to ten producer demonstration site coordinators to ensure the PDS network is well resourced.
  • Deploy emissions measurement devices at appropriate times across the network.
  • Collect and secure extensive data generated from these devices.
  • Plan a comprehensive calendar of extension and adoption activities, including field days, centered on the producer demonstration sites.
Requirements
  • Proven capacity to coordinate large-scale on-farm research across multiple sites.
  • Leadership in managing teams responsible for agricultural adoption and extension.
  • Effective communication skills in engaging with industry and research partners.
  • Expertise in organizing the secure collection of large datasets from diverse sources.
