The Export Contracts & Documentation Officer will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate production of export container shipment documentation.

  • Manage container / bulk shipping, including liaising with customers, accepting vessels nominations, communication with packing houses, bulk handling companies, transport operators, shipping companies, banks, superintendents, and Government departments.
  • Preparation of shipping documents, including Letters of Credit.
  • Coordination of container packing with packers.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and logistics providers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Coordinate the movement of goods from farm to fork, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Requirements:
  • Warehouse operations experience.
  • Supply Chain & Rail / Road Logistics experience.
  • Grains and Pulses Industry experience (desirable).
  • Department of Agriculture experience (desirable).
  • Proven international trade finance and export documentation experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in agriculture and/or business (desirable).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
