Leadership Role in Agricultural Operations

A highly skilled and experienced leader is sought to oversee the daily activities of a farming team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of agricultural practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and direct staff effectively.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise farm workers and activities to ensure efficient and safe working conditions.
  • Operate complex farm machinery, including tractors and sprayers, to maintain crop yields and quality.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to guarantee accurate data recording.
  • Maintain a safe working environment through adherence to health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • A relevant certification in Horticulture or a related field.
  • Significant experience in horticultural practices and farm management.
  • Proficiency in operating heavy machinery, such as tractors and sprayers, with knowledge of chemical application techniques.
  • Proven supervisory and coordination skills to lead teams effectively.
  • A valid driver's license and forklift certification.
  • Current registration as an agricultural chemical user.
