We are looking for Porters who will play a dynamic and guest-focused role that goes far beyond handling luggage.

From providing a warm welcome to assisting with arrivals, departures, and personalized recommendations, they contribute to creating a seamless and memorable experience for our guests from the moment they arrive at our driveway.

A Porter's responsibilities include:

  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival
  • Assist with luggage, directions, and general guest inquiries
  • Provide valet parking services, driving both automatic and manual vehicles
  • Offer local knowledge and concierge-style recommendations
  • Maintain the presentation of lobby and entrance areas
  • Collaborate with the Front Office team to ensure smooth guest journeys

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A valid Australian driver's license
  • Confidence in driving both automatic and manual vehicles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service
  • Physical capability to assist with manually handling luggage, and stand for extended periods
  • Availability for rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays
  • The ability to legally work in Australia on an ongoing basis
  • Experience in a fast-paced, 5-star hotel in a similar role

Your responsibilities will include greeting guests with warmth and professionalism, assisting with luggage, directions, and general guest inquiries, providing valet parking services, and offering local knowledge and concierge-style recommendations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a valid Australian driver's license, confidence in driving both automatic and manual vehicles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service, physical capability to assist with manually handling luggage, and stand for extended periods, availability for rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays, the ability to legally work in Australia on an ongoing basis, and experience in a fast-paced, 5-star hotel in a similar role.
