About the Role

As a Guest Service Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and memorable experience from the moment they arrive.

You'll manage check-ins and check-outs, handle bookings and transactions, and provide local insights to enhance each stay.

  • Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience.
  • Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and telling them about ways to improve their stay.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.
  • Take pride in your appearance and place as a brand ambassador.
  • Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessary.
Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
  • Prior experience working as a Guest Service Agent at a luxury hotel is preferred.
  • Mandatory certifications include RSA.
  • A high school diploma or qualification.
  • Experience in Opera preferred.
  • Passion for providing luxury experiences, not shy to go above and beyond to personalize our Guests' stays and provide your local wisdom to enhance their experience.
  • Ongoing availability to work flexibly as rostered, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
  • Impeccable grooming standards and good personal hygiene.
  • An organized approach, ability to handle large amounts of information at once and deal with various requests simultaneously.
  • Good communication and writing skills.
  • Physical fitness as you'll be on your feet most of the day. Sometimes you'll need to lift, push and pull objects, such as tables, up to 23 kg – we have the equipment to support you and keep you safe.
