Guest Relations Manager Position Summary

This role oversees a team of local culture and heritage experts to deliver exceptional, personalized service to guests. Key responsibilities include analyzing reservation procedures to ensure quality and consistency across settings.

  • Tour guests around Capella Sydney, sharing unique insights, facts, and perspectives on the Education Building.
  • Create bespoke travel experiences within the hotel and surrounding area, providing expert advice on activities that embody the values of the hotel group.

The Guest Relations Manager works closely with the Chief Culturist to develop daily programming, Moments & Curates, delivering a distinct product offering. This includes monitoring departmental expenses and supporting Rooms Division budget and forecast reports.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor, with strong relationships with guests. A very good command of spoken and written English is required, along with knowledge of Property Management Systems (e.g., OPERA) and Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.

Talent Profile

  • A tertiary education in Hotel/Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar role at luxury hotels or resorts.
  • Prior concierge experience is advantageous.
  • Executive Lounge, Front Desk, or Guest Services background preferred.
