About the Role

This position is responsible for driving sales growth in Victoria by identifying, pursuing, and winning new business opportunities. The successful candidate will have a strong network and ability to forge strong client relationships to ensure Humanscale's inclusion in projects and successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and product mix sales goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government, architects, designers, IT resellers, and end-users.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through personal network, team networking, lead sharing, and information gathering tools.
  • Provide educational and marketing support to end-users, dealers, architects, and designers to promote the value of ergonomic workplace solutions.
  • Manage sales activity and opportunity reports, CRM, installation assistance, and sales training.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve shipment and quality matters.
  • Host showroom events, including breakfast meetings, lunch and learn sessions, and evening events with A&D, workstation suppliers, and project managers.
  • Develop and maintain a list of major projects and ensure Humanscale's strategic placement for success.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of business sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications.
  • Successful track record of sales planning and execution.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and associated applications.

Additional Qualifications

  • Knowledge and/or experience in office furniture or related industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skillful negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Aggressive follow-up and closing skills.
