We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team located in Mount Gambier, South Australia.

Borg Manufacturing is an innovative and progressive multi-disciplined company specialising in manufacturing design, automation, and systems integration. Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities, and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing engineering drawings with accuracy and precision;
  • Interpreting engineering concepts and specifications to ensure drafting designs meet quality standards;
  • Delivering high-quality drafting work on time, meeting project-specific deadlines;
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • Relevant technical qualifications in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Automation and Manufacturing;
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of design experience in the field;
  • Advanced experience in Eplan CAD design and AutoCAD Electrical (an advantage);
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, with knowledge of Siemens and SEW equipment;
  • Design drafting skills to Australian Standards and Codes of Practice;
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to communicate and work effectively within a team environment;
  • A sound work ethic, with motivation to complete jobs efficiently;
  • Attention to detail and commitment to highest quality workmanship.
