About the Opportunity

Aurecon's Industrial EI&C team in Sydney is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Design Expert, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for industrial processes.

Job Description:

  • Detailed design of electrical systems for heavy industrial and process plant projects
  • In-depth knowledge of key Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1.1, and AS/NZS 2067
  • Prior experience with client interfacing roles and project management
  • Experience in power systems software and renewable energy systems

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completed a Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by Engineers Australia
  • Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience working on industrial projects, delivering process plant projects, energy sector, water sector, or mining projects
  • In-depth knowledge of 'in-plant' electrical distribution (MV and LV systems) and motor control systems
