Salary

The salary for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with expertise in high voltage design to join our Sydney-based team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in designing and implementing high voltage systems for commercial and industrial clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong attention to detail. They will also be comfortable working with AutoCAD, MS Office, and other software tools commonly used in the industry.

  • Design and implement high voltage systems for commercial and industrial clients;
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technicians to deliver projects on time and within budget;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers;
  • Conduct site inspections and data collection as required;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a consulting or contracting environment;
  • ASP3 Accreditation and proficiency in Level 3 ASP, Private, and Lighting electrical designs;
  • Familiarity with Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, and Essential Energy standards and designs;
  • Knowledge of NSW utilities, authorities, and Australian standards;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other software tools commonly used in the industry;
