Northrop Grumman Australia, a leading player in the Defence sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Mission Systems Engineer to join its team. As part of our MQ-4C Triton programme, you will be responsible for identifying and managing network integration risks, working closely with US counterparts to develop technical knowledge, and supporting ongoing management of the mission system.

This is a highly rewarding role that requires a degree-qualified individual with experience in Network Engineering, possessing a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification. You will also need to have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and hit milestones quickly.

At Northrop Grumman, we offer a comprehensive remuneration package, including a salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as purchased annual leave, generous paid parental leave, and flexible working arrangements.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and manage Triton Network integration risks through close engagement with the customer
  • Work closely with US counterparts to grow and develop technical knowledge of Triton network
  • Support ongoing management of the Triton mission system through evaluation and assessment of network changes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree qualification in IT or Engineering
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification
  • Experience in Network Engineering
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
