About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and developing person-centred Behaviour Support Plans using a positive behaviour support framework.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of behaviour support principles, and experience working with individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify individualised goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans that promote positive outcomes
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to individuals and their families
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • NDIS registered Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core+) or relevant qualification in a field such as psychology, social work, or teaching
  • Experience in complex case management and forensic behaviour support
  • Strong clinical vocabulary and ability to write comprehensive reports
  • Knowledge of NDIS service delivery and relevant legislation
