Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Behavioural Specialists. As a Behavioural Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support services that empower participants to reach their goals.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with participants, families, and carers, as well as collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement person-centred plans.

As a Behavioural Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to provide tailored support services that promote participant autonomy and self-advocacy. You will be expected to contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional development, ensuring that your skills and knowledge remain up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support services that promote participant autonomy and self-advocacy
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants, families, and carers
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement person-centred plans
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in behavioural support (desired)
  • 1 year experience in restrictive practice report writing (required)
  • 1 year experience in high-intensity support (required)
  • NDIS Workers Screening and National Police Certificate (required)
  • First Aid Certification and valid driver's license (required)
