Adelaide Early Learning is an experienced provider of quality early childhood education. We are seeking a visionary leader to shape the future of our Adelaide region centres.

About the Role

The initial Centre Director will be responsible for the operational excellence, financial performance, safety, and people leadership of our centres. You will ensure that our services become known as leaders in early childhood education through positive community engagement and high-quality programs that exceed industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operational Excellence: Design and deliver high-quality early childhood services that value families and educators while meeting regulatory standards.
  2. Operational Excellence: Support and guide the team to execute our values and objectives.
  3. Operational Excellence: Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with regulations and our standards.
  4. Operational Excellence: Oversee service presentation standards and ensure consistency across all centres in the region.
  5. Operational Excellence: Manage the financial performance of each centre, ensuring efficient rostering and recruitment aligned with business goals.
  6. Operational Excellence: Ensure all eligible centre funding is received, including subsidies and support programs.
  7. Operational Excellence: Provide regular performance reports.
  8. Safety & Compliance: Champion our safety framework to maximise the wellbeing of children and staff.
  9. Safety & Compliance: Proactively identify, report, and mitigate risks and potential issues.
  10. Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and resolve any issue effectively.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role within early childhood education or childcare services.
  • Strong financial skills, including cost accountability and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of government funding and requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing culturally diverse teams.
  • Tertiary qualification in Children's Services, Education, or equivalent.
