Health Information Services Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Health Information Services Officer to join our team at Healthscope Hospitals. As a key member of our Health Information Service team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of patient information.
Key Responsibilities- Information Management: You will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient information, including electronic delivery of health records to internal and external clients.
- Communication: You will liaise with doctors, patients, community members, and solicitors on a daily basis to ensure seamless communication and resolution of queries.
- Process Improvement: You will participate in performance improvement activities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our Health Information Service team.
- Team Collaboration: You will work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and objectives, and be able to ask for assistance if required.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You will have a great telephone manner and experience dealing with multiple enquiries.
- Administrative Experience: You will have demonstrated experience working in a busy administrative environment, preferably in the health or medical industry.
- Technical Skills: You will have demonstrated computer literacy and keyboard skills, including knowledge of electronic patient administration systems, email systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Organizational Skills: You will have a high standard of organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and achieve deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: You will have strong attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records.
