Expert Solutions Architect

The role of Senior Functional Consultant involves working closely with key stakeholders to deliver comprehensive PA (IBM Planning Analytics) functionality. This position requires the candidate to design, develop and maintain PA solutions that effectively support business processes.

This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to leverage their expertise in planning analytics to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design integrated solutions that span multiple departments.
  • Estimate work effort and participate in solution design forums and discussions.
  • Communicate complex solutions to business stakeholders clearly and concisely.
  • Review and validate functional designs to ensure they meet customer needs.
  • Develop, test and maintain planning and analytics (PA) solutions, ensuring quality and adherence to Agile methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in IBM Planning Analytics/TM1 development and a strong understanding of Agile and DevOps practices, preferably gained in large Australian organisations.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing development teams, leading Scrum processes and driving positive change by challenging the status quo.
  • Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in TM1py and Python programming, with a strong understanding of API technologies and Cubewise tools (Arc, Pulse and Atmosphere).
  • Solution Design & Communication: Proven ability to design and implement cross-functional solutions and translate complex technical concepts into clear actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Estimation: Skilled in estimating work and collaborating effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs) and solution architects across different workstreams.
