Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assess project plans for all stages and facets of the project to ensure timely outcomes.
- Identify key milestones, prepare daily reports and dashboards, and maintain project controls databases.
- Monitor and report on Project Controls processes and implement best practices across projects.
- Proactively lead a planning and controls culture based on risk management, cost control and quality standards.
- Early identification and communication of issues and opportunities to the project team.
- Collaborate with project staff to coordinate information flow for the performance of planning and controls functions.
- Undertake financial management responsibilities, including implementing project monitoring systems.
- Support Project Managers in report interpretation, analysis of project performance, forward planning and development of corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction, Building, Sciences, Architecture or Project Management, or equivalent experience.
- 8 years' experience in building, MEP, civil or rail within Australia.
- Demonstrated application of planning principles.
- Use of planning software and tools such as Primavera Project Planning, Time Chainage Charts, Program Forensic Analysis, Earned Value and Cash Flow Analysis.
- Experience in project planning delivery on large-scale construction projects, ideally rail projects.
