Outdoor Ministry Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead our Outdoor Education programs, bringing together bible-based discipleship and outdoor education.

  • Facilitate high-quality Christian Outdoor Education programs that combine guiding outdoor recreation activities with Word ministry skills of evangelism, teaching, and discipleship.
  • Deliver instruction on various activities such as sailing, canoeing, abseiling, indoor rock climbing, archery, orienteering, and high and low ropes.
  • Conduct evening and weekend program activities, leading or participating in overnight expeditions.

Qualifications required include:

  • Certificate III level or higher in Outdoor Recreation.
  • Current First Aid and Water Rescue certifications.
  • Experience working with young people.
  • Personal Christian faith and willingness to work within an Anglican organisation.

Desirable qualifications include Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation or working towards, Remote or Wilderness First Aid, and previous experience in a similar role.

We require own transport and a current driver's licence due to the location of Port Hacking Conference Centres.

A valid Working with Children Check number for paid employment must be obtained prior to an offer of employment being made.

This position is subject to a valid Working with Children Check.
