About the Team

Our Group Services team is a hub of expertise, keeping MYOB highly tuned and up and running. This team is comprised of specialized groups including commercial, finance, legal, and risk, who drive our business performance while ensuring meticulous attention to detail.

The Opportunity

In this newly created role within Financial Services and Benefits Line of Business, you will oversee and enhance our finance operations for the superannuation business. As the department grows, this position will develop to include finance operations for network partners, novated leasing, and other products.

About The Role

  • Collaborate with various teams to develop short-term and long-term financial plans, identifying opportunities to improve operations and reduce risk.
  • Influence strategy, challenge expenditure appropriateness, and improve prioritization of key initiatives.
  • Play a key part in relationship and compliance management with external customers.
  • Strengthen and implement finance operations processes and controls.
  • Manage contracts, ensuring terms are met and maintained, including coordination with legal and compliance teams for contract renewals and negotiations.
  • Provide impactful analysis and return on investment insights and recommendations.
  • Develop performance dashboards, track goals, and progress on key initiatives.
  • Be responsible for data reconciliation processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Contribute to the annual Financial Services & Benefits Budget and quarterly forecast.
  • Support ad-hoc projects, including financial modeling.

About You

  • You have proven experience in finance operations, preferably within superannuation or financial services.
  • An understanding of the software or technology industry is desirable.
  • A dedicated and proactive attitude, ready to contribute to our team's success.
  • A strong ability to collaborate with and influence various individuals and groups.
  • Advanced problem-solving and influencing skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate financial data.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling.
  • Experience with Oracle PBCS and Business Intelligence tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Oracle BI, SQL queries) is preferred.

Estimated Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience
