About Our Client

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Property Finance Director to join our client's team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with expertise in property development and finance to lead our company's financial operations.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our company's financial functions, including financial reporting, compliance, audit, cash flow forecasting, tax, and analysis of group entities. The role will also involve providing commercial support to the Group, enhancing operational performance through detailed analysis, reports, and advice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounting functions, both corporate and operational
  • Craft cash flow forecasts and oversee project budgets
  • Conduct financial analyses and ensure cost control in property projects
  • Lead the existing accounting team and supervise its members
  • Ensure that cash flow adequately supports operations
  • Negotiate and report project budgets
  • Prepare and maintain financial feasibility analyses
  • Fulfill ad hoc financial reporting requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with a CA/CPA qualification. A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Finance Manager with property developers is required, along with knowledge of property finance procedures and strong relationships with major banks. You will also need to have strong financial modeling, analysis, and reporting skills, as well as attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company, with a significant project pipeline expected to be delivered over the next decade in Sydney and Melbourne.
