Job Title: Governance Specialist

About the Role

This part-time role involves providing administrative support to our Board and Board Committees.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a company secretariat function within a regulated industry/sector, ideally in a not-for-profit context.

  • Provide administrative support to the Board and Board Committees;
  • Partner with the Chief Legal & Risk Officer to deliver all company secretariat functions;
  • Oversee Director and designated senior management appointments and resignations;
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal, regulatory, or other changes impacting corporate governance;

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in law, governance, business, or related field;
  • Membership of the Governance Institute of Australia or equivalent;
  • Extensive experience in a company secretarial function within a regulated industry/sector;
