About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Officer to join our Coles Group Company Secretariat team. The successful candidate will support the Company Secretary and Deputy Company Secretary in providing company secretarial services to the Coles Group Limited Board and subsidiary entities.
You will:
- Oversee all aspects of subsidiary management for the Group to ensure compliance with statutory and reporting obligations;
- Be responsible for regulatory and statutory filings and maintaining statutory records in an accurate and efficient manner;
- Support delivery of the Group's Annual Reporting Suite and the Annual General Meeting of shareholders;
- Act as the key liaison in relation to company secretariat aspects of the employee share plan processes/administration;
- Work closely with the Company Secretary to execute the annual Board and Committee program;
- Manage the Group's interim and final dividend payment processes.
About You and Your Skills:
As an experienced professional, you will possess:
Extensive experience in corporations' law or experience in company secretariat or governance advisory to a publicly listed company;Knowledge of company secretariat practices, Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules and the ASX Corporate Governance Principles and Recommendations;ASX listed experience ideally in a company secretariat team or in the capacity as a legal advisor on corporate governance matters;A high level of stakeholder and project management experience;Knowledge of best corporate governance procedures and ability to influence peers and partner with stakeholders across all levels is essential;Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability influence at Executive levels.At Coles, we value your wellbeing and professional development, offering flexible work arrangements and celebrating your contributions.
