Job Title: Human Resources Officer

We are seeking a passionate HR Professional to join our organization in Canberra. This role sits within the Workplace and Performance Branch and is primarily responsible for providing exceptional support to our business clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a first point of contact for various HR matters
  • Coordinate and provide client support with talent attraction, recruitment, onboarding, learning and development programs, and staff separation
  • Drafting and advertising jobs, sitting on interview panels, onboarding new staff, progressing probationary processes, administering learning and development programs, assisting with delivering our annual training plan, supporting with annual performance appraisals, delivering talent engagement projects, conducting exit interviews, and providing general HR advice and support

Requirements:

  • A personable individual with a passion for human resource management
  • Strong proficiency in administration and developing professional relationships
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in human resource management is desirable
