Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team at Kings Engineering, a member company of The Bloomfield Group. The successful candidate will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for providing commercial guidance and support to operational personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide commercial input to estimating, quoting, cost control, contracts, and management of business profitability.
  • Lead governance initiatives, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, taxation, and other legislative requirements.
  • Monitor market developments and adapt the business strategy to factor in changing macro and micro influences.
  • Prepare financial statements and management accounts, including associated analysis and commentary.
  • Manage internal and external audits for Kings Engineering.
  • Optimize the use of the ERP for cost recording and reporting.
  • Provide professional expertise as a member of both the Kings Engineering Management Team and The Bloomfield Group Finance team to Kings Engineering and Group Finance projects and initiatives.
Requirements

We are looking for a degree-qualified professional with current CA/CPA membership and at least 10 years' experience in a commercial accounting role. The ideal candidate will be an influential leader with highly developed financial acumen and up-to-date knowledge of the latest accounting standards and legislation.
