Job Title: Strategic Business Development Manager

About the Role

The primary objective of this role is to support commercial activities across various contracts and relationships, working closely with the Commercial Manager.

  • Provide expert commercial advice to ensure timely delivery of contract commitments.
  • Lead the administration of contracts to guarantee adherence to program schedules and quality reporting standards.
  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships to effectively manage commercial outcomes.
  • Communicate program risks, commercial obligations, and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement lessons learned from completed projects to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, or business management are highly desirable.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a commercial, legal, or business advisory capacity post-graduate studies.
  • Proven track record in managing and developing complex contracts.
  • Experience in drafting agreements and mitigating commercial risk.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and build strong business relationships.
