
Roster Management Specialist

The Operational Logistics Department at Ambulance Victoria is seeking a skilled professional to oversee the strategic governance and effective management of the AV Rostering system.
This Full-Time opportunity involves working from Burwood with flexible options available, requiring the successful applicant to maintain a presence at the office in line with our hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain backend system configuration, including codes, shift tags, leave codes, certifications, crewing IDs, and other critical system elements, ensuring alignment with approved business cases and standards.
- Conduct periodic audits and review of the rostering system to verify adherence to standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop standard processes to ensure clear and controlled engagement with internal customers for data analysis and reporting.
- Lead the development, governance, monitoring, and awareness of policies and procedures for the management of rostering system changes with key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with established naming conventions and business rules to uphold system consistency, integrity, and usability.
About You:
- You will possess a postgraduate degree or relevant industry certification (or progress toward) with high-level experience, or an equivalent combination of training and sound experience.
- Demonstrated experience in system governance, configuration management, or similar equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience of UKG Workforce Manage Pro system, with experience in backend configurations.
- Proven ability to develop and implement processes, guidelines, and training programs.
- Leadership skills to ensure objectives are achieved, through managing, developing, and guiding others to achieve objectives.
