We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Laboratory Demonstrators/Tutors to join our Biomedical Science program on the Broadway Campus in Sydney.

The successful candidate will have subject matter expertise in Anatomy and Physiology, Scientific Writing and Literacy, and Chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratories/tutorials to the standard of the Program.
  • Consultation with students in relation to activities, practicals, weekly topics and upcoming assessments.
  • Assisting with assessment administration, such as marking, entering results and providing feedback to students as required.
  • Attend meetings as required by the Course Coordinator/Program Coordinator.

Qualifications, skills & experience:

  • Qualified to at least one AQF qualification level higher than the course of study being taught, or with equivalent professional experience. A minimum of an undergraduate qualification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current scholarship and/or professional practice in the relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to deliver quality learning and teaching practices in multiple modes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to foster high levels of collegiality and ability to empathise with students.
