
Business Development Manager

The primary objective of this role is to drive revenue growth for our K-12 partners by cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with key decision makers within schools. This involves maximizing content sales and increasing student and staff utilization of our student reading app.
Main Responsibilities:- Drive revenue growth and/or other revenue-supporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in assigned territories based on set targets.
- Remain knowledgeable about all relevant OverDrive products, services, capabilities, and processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partners regarding sales opportunities, questions, concerns, and requests.
- Collaborate effectively with your territory team and meet regularly.
- Regularly travel to key accounts to conduct partner meetings and attend trade shows and other on-site events.
- Participate in meetings with sales leadership to present progress toward goals and collaborate on sales strategies.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the K-12 market.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 1 - 3+ years of consultative sales experience or K-12 education experience.
- A professional and proactive sales approach.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Able to manage cross-functional relationships within the company.
- A team player with superior communication and interpersonal skills.
