Business Planning Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced business professional to lead our planning efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development, execution and communication of financial and inventory plans.

  • The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional teams including site management, merchandising, DC operations and store teams to ensure maximum sales through all fulfillment channels.
  • They will implement strategies that meet and exceed sales, gross margin, GMROI, and inventory goals for all business categories.
Main Responsibilities
  • The selected candidate will drive business results through the management of category-level sales, margin, and inventory plans. They will work closely with merchants to develop and execute financial plans and productivity goals for assigned categories.
  • They will own the first review of financial plans and forecasts for both pre-season and in-season.
  • The candidate will inform and influence in-season business performance by developing forward-looking inventory strategies and managing risk and opportunities through the OTB process.
  • They will present positioning and opportunities to senior leadership and ensure detailed and accurate forecasts, timely receipt flow, and optimum levels of inventory to balance turn and in-stock ratios.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have experience in retail or product management, advanced analytics skills, and supervisory experience. They should also be proficient in Microsoft Suite and Retail Math.
