Job Description

This challenging and rewarding opportunity focuses on the installation of cooling technology in high-rise public housing towers throughout Victoria. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be part of a collaborative team working on this critical project.

You will be responsible for managing the installation of new air conditioning systems in 44 high-rise towers across Victoria's 14 precincts. The towers vary in height and have a total of 6,660 units. Your role will require expertise in all facets of construction project management, including procurement processes, contract management, stakeholder relationships, program management, and budgeting.

The High-Rise Cooling Program aims to provide a comfortable living environment for residents in these public housing towers. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering this program and ensuring its successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide authoritative advice to stakeholders and prepare detailed reports on complex matters.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in construction project management, preferably in a similar context. You must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.

A valid work permit or visa is required, and applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
