Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced construction Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of a high-rise cooling program. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing and installing new air conditioning technology within public high-rise tower dwellings across Victoria's fourteen (14) precincts.

The precincts comprise 44 high rise towers which were constructed between 1960 and 1975 and comprise 6,660 units. The towers vary between 12 and 30 storeys in height and come in a variety of plan forms. Thirteen towers house older persons.

The role requires an experienced candidate with proficiency in all facets of construction project management, including coordinating procurement processes and contract management, providing authoritative advice, and building strong stakeholder relationships to deliver project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet, and agency submissions on complex matters.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
  • Oversee, monitor, or deliver projects in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.

  • Experience in program management, including planning and scheduling.
