About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead UX Researcher to join our innovative team at Woolworths Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our business functions and driving business growth through user-centered design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research Strategy: Develop and implement research strategies to identify business needs and prioritize research initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including Design, Product, Marketing, and Experimentation, to ensure research findings are effectively communicated and integrated into business decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and mentor researchers and team members on best practices in UX research, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of research projects.
  • Research Execution: Conduct research projects across all stages of the product design process, from ideation to evaluation, to inform business decisions and drive innovation.
  • Communication and Dissemination: Effectively communicate research findings to stakeholders with varying needs, using clear and concise language to ensure research insights are actionable and impactful.
  • Research Operations: Manage research processes, participant recruitment, and research tooling to ensure efficient and effective research execution.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in UX Research, Service Design, or UX Design with a strong research focus.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
  • Human-Centred Design: Applied knowledge of Human-Centred Design principles.
  • Collaboration: Experience collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Communication: Excellent writing and communication skills, with an engaging presentation style.
