About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team in Sydney.
This position requires someone trustworthy, engaging and zestful with a passion for empowering individuals to live their best lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supportive care to adults with an intellectual or physical disability who attend our day program.
- Foster engagement through individualized or group programs, hobbies and interests.
- Deliver personal care respectfully, if required.
- Cultivate client independence and encourage active participation in the community.
- Promote choice and control using person-centered active support principles.
- Follow established behavioural support plans.
- Maintain a positive and engaging presence as a role model.
Requirements
- A valid P2 NSW Drivers License or higher.
- Full working rights in Australia (no restrictions).
- Flexibility to work Monday-Friday between 9-3:30pm.
- Previous experience is highly valued.
