Role Responsibilities

Support workers play a vital role in organizing daily activities for clients, including personal care, domestic assistance, and community access. This involves creating tailored plans that meet individual needs and promote independence.

Key Activities:
  • Personal Care: assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Domestic Assistance: supporting with household chores, meal preparation, and laundry
  • Community Access: accompanying clients to appointments, events, and social activities
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in manual handling and mobility support
  • Knowledge of restrictive practices and complex behavior support
  • NDIS worker screening check / yellow card
  • Working with children check / blue card
  • First aid and CPR certification
  • Certificate III or IV in individual support, disability, or equivalent
  • Australian driver's license and reliable transportation
