Hotel Manager Job Summary

As a seasoned hospitality professional, we seek an experienced Hotel Manager to lead our Front Office team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and develop leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example when attending to guest requests and maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Supervise and support the Front Office team and other departments as required.
  • Ensure suitable manning levels are maintained at all times across the hotel.
  • Implement policies and procedures for efficient operations and effective communication.
  • Authorize roster changes and ensure strict adherence to cash handling and confidentiality protocols.
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees, conduct inductions and skills training.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and monitor financial performance.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in Luxury Front Office management.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
  • Hold a current RSA and First Aid certificate.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
