The Role

The Manager – Legal Technology & Projects is a high-profile role within Crown Resorts that supports our properties in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced technology professional to lead operational excellence within the group legal function by driving best practice through technology and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical solutions that meet nationally agreed standards
  • Support the Compliance team with technical and operational expertise
  • Drive high performance through the delivery of technical solutions and educate the business to build broader capabilities
  • Work with Legal and other business units to assess risks and develop solutions to problems arising in any work
  • Coordinate team resources, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver projects on time, on budget, and to desired quality
  • Contribute ideas and develop strategic initiatives, workflows, and technical solutions that are commercial and meet business needs
  • Build networks and relationships within the Crown Group and with external service providers, sharing knowledge and acting as a role model, leader, and trusted advisor

Requirements

  • Broad experience in legal technology, systems, and processes (experience in litigation eDiscovery is highly desirable)
  • A degree or equivalent experience in information or project management, IT, or computer science. Legal experience is well regarded but not essential
  • Demonstrated project management and consulting skills
  • Advanced skills in MS Office suite, PDF software, and MS Access
  • Familiarity with PowerBi, SQL Server, and computer code (HTML, XML, JSON, etc.) are advantageous
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues and outcomes
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, with stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Has or is able to obtain all required Casino Employee Licenses
