The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Counsel to join our team at Crown Melbourne. As the General Counsel, you will be responsible for providing strategic and commercial legal advice to the Board, stakeholders, and the business. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing timely and effective legal advice on a wide range of matters, including gaming and liquor licensing, employment, litigation, and procurement.
- Leading the development and implementation of legal strategies to mitigate risks and drive business growth.
- Managing external legal advisers and overseeing the legal affairs of Crown Melbourne.
- Providing key legal and strategic advice to senior leaders in the business.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Extensive legal experience, including company secretary experience.
- A strategic mindset and exceptional leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A bachelor's degree in law and admission as a solicitor.
