The Role

The Manager – Legal Technology & Projects is a key position within our organization that supports our properties in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. This role offers a rare opportunity for an experienced technology professional to lead operational excellence within the group legal function by driving best practice through technology and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technical solutions that align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical and operational support to the Compliance team to ensure seamless integration with business operations.
  • Drive high-performance results through the delivery of technical solutions, while educating the business on building broader capabilities and smart solutions.
  • Collaborate with Legal and other business units to assess risks and develop solutions to problems arising in any work.
  • Coordinate team resources, manage stakeholder expectations, and consistently deliver projects on time, on budget, and to desired quality.
  • Contribute ideas and develop strategic initiatives, workflows, and technical solutions that are commercial and meet business needs.
  • Build networks and relationships within the Crown Group and with external service providers, sharing knowledge and acting as a role model, leader, and trusted advisor.

Requirements

  • Broad experience in legal technology, systems, and processes, with a strong background in litigation eDiscovery.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in information or project management, IT, or computer science, with a strong understanding of legal principles.
  • Demonstrated project management and consulting skills, with the ability to translate technical issues and outcomes to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office suite, PDF software, and MS Access, with familiarity with PowerBi, SQL Server, and computer code (HTML, XML, JSON, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment and with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Ability to obtain all required Casino Employee Licenses.
