We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal & Company Secretarial Assistant to join our team at ENGIE. As a key member of our Legal team, you will provide administrative support to the ENGIE General Counsel / Company Secretary and contribute to the coordination of legal and company secretarial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Support the timely preparation and submission of company secretarial documentation, including ASIC filings, board resolutions, and minutes of meeting, to meet compliance, reporting, and regulatory standards.
- Provide administrative support, including processing and recording of legal firm provider invoices, legal and regulatory team event management, and General Counsel calendar scheduling.
- Identify process and efficiency opportunities for the legal and regulatory team from an administrative perspective and implement improvements.
- Maintain safe custody filing systems for original documents, such as contracts, deeds, and guarantees.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Experience in a similar role supporting a legal team.
- Ability to manage diverse stakeholders, prioritize, and influence outcomes.
- Willingness to learn and a can-do attitude.
- A curious and structured mind to explore opportunities for continuous improvement.
