Job Title:

Risk Management Specialist

A unique opportunity to shape the future of risk management in a leading financial services organization.

  • To succeed in this role, you will need at least 5 years of relevant experience in risk assessment framework, preferably within Financial Services, FinTech, or Consulting.
  • You will engage with a range of clients across various sectors, including insurance, superannuation, and banking, providing you with a broad spectrum of experiences.
  • You'll assess and improve the adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of clients' operational processes, controls, activities, policies, and systems using cutting-edge tools and artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct audits, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations for our clients.
  2. Support the lead on audit projects to ensure they meet our agreed standards and timelines.
  3. Research and analyse client needs to identify and assess potential issues within the regulatory framework.
  4. Collaborate with the wider team on business development initiatives aimed at transforming risk functions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with Australian and/or international prudential supervision, regulatory reporting, RegTech, capital management, enterprise risk, and risk data management is important.
  • Good knowledge of third-party lifecycle management, including due diligence, risk assessments, monitoring, and offboarding.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
