Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Credit Risk Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and managing credit risk associated with new and existing business clients. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all lending submissions meet regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with relationship and business development managers to provide tailored solutions for clients, focusing on business goodwill secured lending. This involves upfront debt structuring, increasing lending, and producing credit submissions that assess counterparty risk.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, or related fields
  • Prior experience in accounting, finance, or risk with a strong interest in financial services
  • Sound financial analysis skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a strong client focus
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities appropriately
