Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity available in our business unit as a Compliance and Risk Professional. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our risk management framework, providing support and advice to the business unit, and ensuring they operate within our risk appetite.

This is a permanent role, working flexibly from our office.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Assist in delivering timely risk management and/or compliance analysis and advice to stakeholders.
  • Support and advise the business to identify, classify, measure, and monitor their risks and/or compliance requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and compliance issues associated with day-to-day business goals.
  • Work with stakeholders to analyze and quantify the impact of items requiring remediation.
  • Coordinate the formulation of remediation strategies and implementation plans.
  • Provide key reporting requirements and insights on operational risk matters.
  • Build strong relationships with other risk teams.
  • Contribute to the technical development of the team by coaching and mentoring.
  • Manage risk processes such as the risk in change process, business continuity, and user access reviews.
  • Respond to queries from internal stakeholders on risk, compliance, and governance requirements.
Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualification.

  • Experience working within life insurance/financial services.
  • Experience in a relevant risk management and/or compliance environment or similar.
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies and legal compliance requirements of the life insurance & superannuation industries.
