Operational Risk Manager Position

The Business Operational Risk team is seeking an experienced and skilled operational risk professional to join its ranks. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and managing operational risk across diverse business lines.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who have a strong ability to balance commercial outcomes within a risk framework and are looking to contribute to the Non-Financial Risk Function. You will be responsible for leading Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), providing operational risk advice, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to develop practical solutions for managing non-financial risks.

As a Senior Manager in the Business Operational Risk team, you will be working in a fast-paced environment to ensure operational risk is managed in alignment with our Operational Risk Management Framework. Your work will directly strengthen our first line of defence and contribute to critical business initiatives.

Key Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in operational risk management or internal control roles within the financial services industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication skills and the ability to advise senior stakeholders
  • Proven capability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience in leading RCSA and performing control assurance activities
