Job Description

This role provides expert technical support and coordination of technical activities to the Service Department at a national level. The primary focus is on the Bizerba product portfolio, primarily supporting local NSW customers through installation, servicing, and breakdown support.

The Service Technician Specialist will also provide remote support and travel to other locations to support all Bizerba customers.

  • Provide installation, breakdown, and servicing support to NSW customers.
  • Support Bizerba equipment with interstate travel required to support emergency breakdowns and installations.
Main Duties/Responsibilities

This role involves providing technical input into customer and employee training programs for Bizerba products and running training programs for courses where you have product expertise.

You will be responsible for evaluating and following through to completion all Bizerba quality issues in a timely manner.

  • Liaise with Balingen to obtain technical information & arranging for factory representatives to visit to resolve issues.
  • Assist Spare Parts Department with recommendations about type and quantity of Bizerba parts to be kept in stock.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7-10 years experience with Bizerba products.
  • Good understanding of processes and systems.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Well organised with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to think laterally and possess methodical problem-solving attributes.
